Merlin was a young man, gifted with a twin sister, and with powers beyond imagining. Yet this was not enough for fate. He started dreaming of other worlds, other realms, and other times. And with those dreams came new abilities, new parts of himself, for he did not just dream them, he absorbed parts of them, these other selves.
He saw a self walk the halls of a bar beyond the end of the multiverse and another land in a village beyond all time, and yet another slide into a world beyond all rainbows. His mind swallowed those tales, and more, and made them his own. His body aged, slightly, shifting, and he knew more than he had. Now, Merlin was ready for destiny… until he was pulled out of it, of course… |
